Hi, how can is this attached to the side panel? My sidecovers have been filled with filler, so no carvings for the emblems to sit flush. Would it be possible to attach this emblem to an even surface?

This side panel emblem is usually fixed with the mounting clips that you find inside the package (like the original one): if you remove the fixing pins on the rear of the side panel I think you should have no problem to attach it to an even surface maybe using some glue.
