Athena-Dichtungen werden unter Verwendung der besten verfügbaren Rohstoffe und modernster Verarbeitungstechniken wie Inline-Laserschneiden und mehrstufiges Stanzen hergestellt. Diese Dichtung wird zwischen den Auspuffrohren und dem Zylinderkopf eingebaut. Alte und verschlissene Auspuffrohrdichtungen verhindern das ordnungsgemäße Funktionieren der gesamten Auspuffanlage: Es ist ratsam, diese Dichtung jedes Mal zu ersetzen, wenn die Auspuffanlage demontiert wird.
