The external body is isolated to protect the internal components from corrosion: the rubber oil seals guarantee perfect insulation which increases durability. The bushings used are made of 90/10 copper to ensure maximum reliability when starting the motorcycle. OEM part number BMW: 12.41.1.352.526, 12.41.1.243.181, 12.41.9.062.425, 12.41.1.357.500, 12-41-1-244-550 and 12.41.1.244.670.

No, direi che non bisogna sostituire il pignone per montare questo motorino, quantomeno non che il sappia: posso dirle che non ho mai avuto nessuna segnalazione a riguardo nè dal produttore nè dai clienti che hanno acquistato questo motorino di avviamento in precedenza. Per ulteriore conferma può controllare che il suo attuale motorino di avviamento abbia 9 denti come questo.
